This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit’s Defense Business Unit (“Spirit Defense”). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space spanetplace. Through innovative engineering and rapid prototyping excellence, Spirit Defense provides the capabilities, technologies and support customers need to succeed in their missions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provides direct support to multiple executives and site leadership team
- Performs various tasks contributing to office organization and efficiency
- Prepares and distributes correspondence, reports, forms, and presentations; manages phone calls, email and access to executive; schedules and coordinates meetings, business travel and expense reports
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle confidential matters with discretion
- Exercises good judgment with strong written and verbal communication and ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
- Event and visitor management, including but not limited to badging, escorting, agendas, bios, catering
- Must be able to anticipate needs, have a positive jump right in attitude
- Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills
- Propensity to model and encourage fair, respectful, and positive etiquette
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Wichita, KS location
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Program Access
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Experience working in a confidential environment
- Experience coordinating domestic and international travel
- IAAP certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)

Summary Pay Range: $56,500- $86,600

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
