* Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology
* 5+ years of experience designing structural and electrical rework and repairs to restore aircraft or systems to original design capability
* Previous Commercial Material Review experience with the company or airlines
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Experience reading and creating engineering drawings, specifications, processes, and design manuals
* 8+ years of experience with avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, or aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting
* Background researching engineering designs to develop defect solutions for product and process issues
* 8+ years of experience assisting with analyses, root cause analysis, and drafting dispositions for non-conformances
* 5+ years of experience collecting, researching, and evaluating product and process improvement opportunities
* Materials Review Board (MRB) or Universal Product Review (UPR) approval authority certification
* Executive interior installation and design experience
* Modification and repair experience on wide-body aircraft Job Duties & Functions
* Apply engineering principles and design knowledge to support product and process issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle
* Assess technical, operational, and quality concerns requiring interim and final engineering solutions
* Lead investigations involving design non-conformances and corrective action development
* Develop product and process improvements supporting production and operational objectives
* Utilize innovative approaches to address complex nonconforming conditions and identify deviations
* Analyze reported problems for potential safety impacts and manage resolution activities
* Provide subject matter expertise during design reviews and Integrated Product Team activities
* Represent the engineering organization throughout build and post-production operations
* Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with established engineering standards
* Prepare customer correspondence supporting continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment
* Coordinate on-site disabled product repair activities and accident investigation support efforts
* Design jacking and shoring schemes supporting aircraft repair requirements
* Conduct static strength analyses for interim structural repair solutions
* Develop non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards
* Implement technical training curriculum for internal and external customers
* Maintain regular and predictable attendance Physical Requirements & Environment

* Ability to navigate stairs and trip hazards
* Exposure to high-noise work areas
* Exposure to chemical handling and breathing hazards
* Ability to enter aircraft during multiple stages of build
