* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and 9 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* 10+ years of experience managing obsolescence management projects
* Knowledge of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transformers, connectors, and integrated circuits
* Ability to research alternate components using data sheets and other technical resources
* Understanding of obsolete parts and evaluation of alternate replacement components
* Strong ability to work effectively within a team environment and hierarchical organization
* Good written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills

* Apply engineering knowledge of electrical and electronic components to evaluate alternate replacements for obsolete parts
* Conduct proactive obsolescence forecasting and monitoring using component surveillance tools, predictive obsolescence systems, and supplier surveys
* Develop obsolescence mitigation strategies and business case analyses supporting recommended solutions
* Prepare customer contractual deliverable plans and required reports
* Support project management activities associated with obsolescence mitigation processes within product and program IPTs
* Analyze aircraft and weapons design requirements to recommend new and alternate electrical components for development and legacy programs
* Assist programs in identifying and mitigating obsolescence risks
* Provide engineering leadership to multidisciplinary teams, including internal and external resources and customers
* Respond to statement of work changes, assess impacts, and coordinate modifications to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules
* Support proposal development and estimating activities
* Lead project execution by identifying activities, resources, and events required to complete work statements
* Plan and coordinate resources throughout the project lifecycle
* Define risk mitigation and opportunity plans while monitoring project performance against established baselines
* Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for project and team execution plans Physical Requirements & Environment
