Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will play a key role in supporting mission-critical systems in a highly secure and technically dynamic environment on the Systems Integration and Test Readiness (SITR) contract for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In this position, you will lead integration, test, and readiness activities across complex system environments, helping ensure critical ground systems are prepared for successful execution. You will work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to drive requirements understanding, design verification, test planning, and issue resolution for mission-essential capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction, lead a team through high-visibility integration efforts, and support capabilities that directly contribute to national security missions.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
- Active US Secret Clearance (or higher).
- Experience on GMD program(s) with the Missile Defense Agency.
- Documented experience and familiarization with GBIs (Gound-Based Interceptors).
- Experience coordinating with customers, engineers, and program stakeholders on complex technical work.
- Experience supporting requirements decomposition, design verification, and interface management.
- Experience preparing and presenting technical status, readiness, and test results in classified labs.
- Experience as a Test Conductor.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting test conductor activities or test execution leadership.
- Experience preparing and presenting technical status, readiness, and test results.
- 10+ years experience directly navigating complex client requirements and providing tailored engineering solutions.
- Familiarity with IMS (Integrated Master Schedule), requirements management, and design verification processes.
- Familiarity with NGI (Next Generation Interceptor) and IVT (Integration Verification Testing) testing.
- Experience leading a medium-sized team in technical execution activities.

Summary Pay Range:

$150,000 - $210,000
