* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 2+ years of experience performing solder assembly in a production environment
* 1 - 2 years of experience with General Assembly
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Machine Shop operations
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Soldering
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
* Proficient with IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, and related IPC standards
* Demonstrated ability to solder and inspect a range of component sizes, including 0201 through 1206 components, BGAs, and QFNs
* Experienced with soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, reflow ovens, and wave solder machines
* Strong visual inspection skills using microscopes and automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment to identify defects
* Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Technical or vocational training in Electronics Assembly
* Experience with mixed technology boards, including SMT and through-hole assemblies
* Knowledge of lead-free and RoHS-compliant manufacturing processes
* Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and yield analysis
* Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and teamwork orientation
* Detail-oriented approach to manufacturing and inspection activities Job Duties & Functions
* Perform manual and selective soldering of through-hole, surface mount (SMT), BGA, QFN, CSP, and other electronic component types
* Conduct visual inspections using microscopes, AOI equipment, and other inspection tools to identify solder defects
* Apply IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC-2221/2222 standards throughout assembly operations
* Verify solder paste, flux, and related materials meet required specifications before use
* Analyze assembly processes and recommend improvements to soldering methods, tooling, and work instructions
* Implement approved process enhancements to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency
* Follow established safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and required PPE usage
* Document and support quality and reliability requirements throughout the assembly process Physical Requirements & Environment

* Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
* Work onsite full-time
